TIG Training
Progressive Pistol Level II
Movement and the Use of Cover
Course Dates
Ready to take your training to the next level?
You're confident with your firearm.  You can safely and competently draw and fire from your holster.  You can quickly reload and clear malfunctions, without focusing on your handgun.  You are confident with both well aimed shots and point shooting.  You continue to challenge yourself, while balancing both speed and accuracy.  You're now looking to layer on critical movement skills and learn to properly leverage cover and concealment.

This course...while continually reinforcing safety and a focus on the necessary mindset needed to prevail in a violent encounter...will progress quickly.  You'll continue to be challenged to increase your speed, while maintaining a high level of accuracy.  You'll learn and practice various movement techniques, while assessing the situation unfolding around you.  You'll learn the difference between cover and concealment and how to leverage angles for your benefit.  You'll practice a variety of dynamic drills designed to build the proper muscle memory, while ramping up the level of simulated duress you experience while shooting.

We will guide you through drills (both dry fire and live fire) which have been carefully chosen to help you assess your current skill level, as well as layer on critical new skills. We will provided you with individualized coaching throughout the course. You will leave with a solid understanding of the practice drills you'll need to spend time working on, in order to meet your individual defense goals, and have access to your instructors for questions post-class.

This course will not only help you build critical skills, for home and personal defense, but it is a requirement for those that wish to pursue additional advanced pistol skill training with us.  This, or comparable, training is required to be completed prior to our Progressive Pistol Level III and higher courses.

"As a former military firearms and tactics instructor, I tend to be overly critical about firearms and tactics not being taught at a military or law-enforcement facility. That being said... Can't say enough great things about this place and the staff!!!
